2019 Adult Learner’s Writing Contest

2019 Adult Learner’s Writing Contest

We are holding our annual Learner’s Writing contest in celebration of Adult Learner’s week (April 15–19, 2019.) This year’s theme is Returning to Learning Changes Lives. Adult learners from across NB, you are invited to share with us your stories about why you returned to learning and how it has positively impacted your life. Your story should include:

  • why you returned to learning
  • how learning changed your life
  • your goals for the future

The Literacy Coalition promotes the importance of life-long learning. Your stories inspire others to return to learning. All stories with the theme Returning to Learning Changes Lives will be published on the LCNB website. The winners and their stories will be featured on our social media that week and the winners will have the opportunity to read their submissions and receive a framed certificate and $100 prize at the 2018 PGI Literacy Dinner and auction!

We ask you to submit your essay to  lcnb@nbliteracy.ca by 5:00 pm, March 18, 2019

Along with your contest submission, please forward us your name, address and phone number as well as the name and phone number of your adult learning program and teacher. By entering this contest you are giving the Literacy Coalition permission to use your name and post your essay on our website.
